كان هناك 3 حلول

الاول هو ان تبيع فولفو لفولفو الام و هذا ما رفضته الشركه السويديه الام

الثان و هو ما تتبناه الان مع جنرال موتورز من موقف موحد يسمح للحكومه السويديه من شراءها للشركتين و تقويه وضعهم المالي

على ان تساعد كل من جنرال موتورز و فورد الشركتين

او المجموعه الجديده الناشاه عن اندماجهم تقنيناً

General Motors has disavowed selling any of its brands but Hummer, but tough financial and market situations are bringing serious pressure to bear. Just this morning, Ford has announced it is opening up consideration of 'strategic options' for its Volvo brand, reversing repeated denials that the brand would be sold. According to the latest reports, both companies have approached the government of Sweden for aid for Saab and Volvo.

At first blush, the request for Swedish aid echoes the moves of Ford and GM in Washington, D.C., but upon closer inspection, more may be at work in the desire to top up the cash reserves at Volvo and Saab. According to the Financial Times, the request for aid is being made in preparation for sale, sweetening their books to attract buyers - a position made stronger by Ford's announcement today.

“Given the unprecedented external challenges facing Ford and the entire industry, it is prudent for Ford to evaluate options for Volvo as we implement our ONE Ford plan,” said Ford President and CEO Alan Mulally. Specifically, the sale of Volvo is being considered as Stephen Odell, Volvo's CEO, works to build a stronger balance sheet and a more 'stand-alone' position for Volvo within the Premier Automotive Group (PAG).

The Swedish aid contacts were reportedly made through Volvo CEO Odell, and Jan-Ake Jonsson, managing director of Saab, to Sweden's industry minister, Maud Olofsson, and other officials. The requests are not falling on deaf ears - Sweden is considering allocating about $247 million to the two carmakers, either through direct aid or loan guarantees, with more possibilities in sight.

On the sale of Volvo, Ford says it will probably take several months to complete the review of options available, so the first decisions shouldn't be expected before late Q1 2009.

On the eve of Detroit’s day of reckoning with the United States government, House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, a South Carolina Democrat, said that the future of the auto industry was up to him, the CEOs of Chrysler LLC, Ford Motor Company and General Motors would be fired.

“If I had my way, all three of those guys would be in the unemployment line and I think that ought to be one of the conditions for us doing this,” Clyburn told reporters at a press conference earlier today. “They need to be giving up their jobs, not just their packages.”

“We need to have new leadership. That’s what we would do if we had this kind of failure on a football field. We would be getting a new coach — sometimes a new athletic director,” he said. “We need to clean house with these guys and bring in new people.”

Clyburn will be responsible for actually rounding up the votes needed for an automaker rescue plan. He has stated that he wants the $25 billion the automakers are requesting to come from the $700 billion previously set aside to help out Wall Street and banks.

All three CEOs - Chrysler’s Bob Nardelli, Ford’s Alan Mulally and GM’s Rick Wagoner - met today in Detroit to finalize the plan they will present to Congress beginning tomorrow.

قرر المجلس باغلبيه السيناتورز تأجيل طرح الخطط المعروضه من قبل جنرال موتورز و فورد و كريسلر الى يوم الخميس بدلا من اليوم الثلاثاء



GM, Ford, and Chrysler must still submit their official recovery strategies to Congress Tuesday morning, but the Senate Banking Committee won’t convene to discuss the plans with Detroit Three executives until Thursday. The 24-hour delay was announced late Monday.

A bipartisan group of top U.S. Senators announced November 20th they were open to providing financial aid to U.S. automakers on the condition they submit an acceptable plan for recovery.

It’s not known why the meeting was rescheduled, but to the American public it simply means there will be a delay in any possible news coming out of it. There is no indication the planned December 8th vote has been moved.

The Senate session is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4th. The House Financial Services Committee will follow up with an additional hearing at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, December 5th.

ريك واجنر حيسافر من ديترويت لواشنطن في عربيه شيفروليه ماليبو هايبريد رحله طولها 519 ميل ... يعني 835 كم...زي من اسكندريه ا للأقصر مثلا ورحله مدتها 9 ساعات تقريبا .....
وطبعا حيسيبوا الاربع طيارات زي ما فورد عملت في طياراتها ..... خصوصا بعد الانتقاد اللازع اللي اتعرضوا ليه روءساء الشركات عند سفرهم للكونجرس بثلاث طيارات... كل واحد في طياره خاصه .... ورحله خاصه
مدير فورد يخفض راتبه السنوي الي 1 دولار والغاء اي مكافاءات او زيادات في الرواتب



Moreover, General Motors Corp. spokesman Tony Cervone announced today that GM
CEO Rick Wagoner has chosen to drive to Washington for a Congress hearing later this week on the proposed auto bailout. Wagoner will perform the 519-mile trip from Detroit to Capitol Hill in a Chevrolet Malibu hybrid sedan. According to Google maps, it will take Wagoner approximately 8 hours and 50 minutes to travel from GM's HQ in Detroit to Washington DC

In the new business plan Ford confirmed that it has decided to sell its five corporate aircrafts after the Big Three's CEO were harshly criticized by Congress for travelling to Washington D.C. separately by jets. In addition, Ford CEO Mulally announced that if the company needs to access the funds provided from the government, he would work for a salary of $1 a year

Ford also reiterated that it is canceling all bonuses to be paid in 2009 for all management employees worldwide and foregoing bonuses for all employees in North America. The company also will not pay merit increases for North America salaried employees in 2009.

Toyota's U.S. sales plummeted November as consumers continue to avoid dealer showrooms. The Japanese automaker sold a total of 130,307 vehicles, representing a 33.9% fall from the same month a year earlier (on a daily selling rate basis). The Toyota Division that includes the Scion brand posted November sales of 114,084 units, a decrease of 33.8% from last November while Lexus reported November sales of 16,223 units, a decrease of 34.7% from the year-ago month.
