اود ان اورد ان بوجيهات ال NGK IRIDIUM تم توجيه انتقادات حادة ان سن البلاتين عرضة للكسر AND SUBSEQUENT SUDDEN PPLUGE FAILURE
ولذلك فى الوقت الحالى الى ان تتطور تكنولوجيا الليزر اصبح هناك بوجيهات عادية قريبة من قوة الليزر بعضا موجود قى مصر مثل الBRISK 4 PLUSE وسيادتك عارف عنواينها واخرى لم يستوردها احدهم
VTA 3D التايوانى
بوجيهات HALO
بوجيهات E3 العحيبة والرائعة
وهذا اليوتيوب يوضح الفرق بين تلك البوجيهات الغير ليزر ولكنها قوية جدا وفى متناول اليد

ملحوظة شركة فور تتبنى البوجيهات الليزر وتحاول عمل تجارب عملية للسباق بين سياراتها وسيارات اخرى مثل ال BMW

Taking Aim at Gas Guzzlers

When people think about reducing gasoline consumption, alternative-fuel and hybrid cars usually come to mind. Transonic Combustion, founded by Mike Cheiky in Camarillo, California, in 2006, has a simpler solution: a superefficient fuel injector designed to integrate easily into conventional cars. Unlike standard fuel injectors, the TSCi injector pressurizes and heats gasoline to 400 degrees Celsius, bringing it to a supercritical state that is partway between liquid and gas. When the substance enters the combustion chamber, it combusts without a spark and mixes with air quickly, allowing it to burn more efficiently than the liquid droplets produced by standard injectors. A Transonic test car the size and weight of a Toyota Prius achieved 64 miles per gallon at highway speeds, compared with the 48 mpg highway rating on the Prius. Transonic is working with three major automakers and expects the first TSCi-equipped vehicles to hit the market in 2014.

Transonic is testing its 10.5-inch-long injector with ethanol, biodiesel, and vegetable oil, in addition to gasoline.

The company, which has locations in Michigan and California, plans to build a factory and begin manufacturing fuel injectors by 2013.

Transonic Combustion Technology - TSCi Fuel Injection






Spark ignition gasoline engine efficiency is limited by a number of factors; these include the pumping losses that result from throttling for load control, spark ignition and the slow burn rates that result in poor combustion phasing and a compression ratio limited by detonation of fuel. A new combustion process has been developed based on the patented concept of injection-ignition known as Transonic Combustion or TSCi™; this combustion process is based on the direct injection of fuel into the cylinder as a supercritical fluid. Supercritical fuel achieves rapid mixing with the contents of the cylinder and after a short delay period spontaneous ignition occurs at multiple locations. Multiple ignition sites and rapid combustion combine to result in high rates of heat release and high cycle efficiency. The injection-ignition process is independent from the overall air/fuel ratio contained in the cylinder and thus allows the engine to operate un-throttled. Additionally, the stratified nature of the charge under part load conditions reduces heat loss to the surrounding surfaces, resulting in further efficiency improvements.






Isn't that Mahle technology very close to what Honda were doing in the 70's with CVCC? Honda were using a separate valve to provide the mixture to the pre-chamber though.

What Is TSCi Technology

TSCiTM is a revolutionary combustion system enabled by injecting supercritical fuel directly into the combustion chamber. Direct injection of fuel in the supercritical state enables significant fuel efficiency improvements to be achieved. For example, supercritical injection enables cost-effective compression ignition of gasoline in engines with a conventional architecture. This is described as “Injection Ignition”, and it results in efficiencies that are equal to or better than today’s Diesel engines. TSCi also enables new combustion strategies to help OEM’s achieve future reductions in emissions levels. So far, a number of top automotive and engine manufacturers have engaged Transonic and are advancing their powertrain plans to incorporate TSCi technology.

The Transonic Combustion system (TSCiTM) is a new combustion process for the gasoline internal combustion engine. The TSCiTM combustion process utilizes direct injection of fuel into the cylinder as a supercritical fluid based on the patented concept of injection-ignition. Supercritical fuel promotes rapid mixing with the contents of the cylinder which, after a short delay, results in spontaneous ignition at multiple locations. Multiple ignition sites and rapid combustion combine to result in optimum heat release and high cycle efficiency. Other advantages are the elimination of droplet burning and increased combustion stability that results from multiple ignition sources.
TSCiTM brings together the injection and ignition processes to become Injection-Ignition. The characteristics of TSCiTM address all of the issues identified above as limiting the efficiency of the gasoline engine; it is capable of operating over a wide range of air/fuel ratios and so does not require a throttle for load control. TSCiTM has inherently short combustion delay and rapid combustion that result in heat release phasing for optimal efficiency. TSCiTM can be operated at an optimal compression ratio since it is not dependent on high octane gasoline. The ignition mechanism renders the combustion system fuel neutral in the sense it is not reliant on either Octane or Cetane values.
A characteristic of the TSCiTM combustion process is that injection of the fuel is delayed to the extent that the heat release predominantly takes place after TDC of the engine power stroke. In order to achieve this, the combustion process must have rapid air-fuel mixing, followed by a short delay period and combustion. Such characteristics can be achieved by injecting the fuel in the form of a supercritical fluid.
A supercritical fluid is any substance at a temperature and pressure above its critical point; it is not a solid, liquid or a gas. Generally supercritical fluids have properties between those of a gas and a liquid. Supercritical fluids also have other unique properties such as having no surface tension, the ability to solvate other liquids and solids and the formation of small particles with a narrow size distribution during a phase change to liquid. Supercritical fluids possess rapid mass transfer properties with diffusion coefficients more than ten times that of a liquid near the critical point. The density ranges between one third and two thirds of that of the corresponding fluid and varies significantly with temperature and pressure.

EPA Cycle Testing of Transonic's Technology Demonstrator Vehicle TSCiTM R&D Prototype Injectors
Independent engine test results, by a recognized international test authority, have been attained over a range of speed/load operating conditions to show fuel consumption reductions of 20% at critical engine test conditions. The results have been correlated with thermo-dynamic modeling to provide a detailed understanding and correlation of the fundamental thermodynamics.
The potential of the technology is to provide real world fuel consumption reductions of 20% to 25% in gasoline fueled passenger cars with corresponding reductions of greenhouses gases.
The TSCiTM system comprises fuel injectors, fuel pump, fuel conditioning module and engine control algorithms. The technology is optimized with high compression ratio engines running on gasoline.
The TSCiTM system has broad US patent coverage on the use of a supercritical fluid in a fuel injection system. Five US patents have been issued and two Notices of Allowance have been received, with the associated patents expected to issue in Q2/2011. More than ten US patents are pending. Additionally, foreign patent protection is being pursued, with one patent issued in China and over 10 International patents are in process.
The specific details of TSCiTM patented technology are highly proprietary and reviewable only under Non Disclosure Agreement.

فعلا موضوع شديد ومستقبل السيارات ولكن هل يصير هذا فى الموضوع لتصميم المواتير الجديدة وهل سوف تكون اجهزة تضاف للسيارات القديمة
