مبيعات ما وراء البحار متضمنه السيارات المصتعه في كوريا ارتفعت بنسبة 11.8%
بينما انخفضت مبيعاتها الكورية بنسبة 8.7%
مجموعة هيونداي -كيا تستحوذ علي أكثر من 80% من سوق السيارات الكورية
ارتفعت السيارات المصدرة من كوريا 2.1 %
و السيارات المصنعه في مصانع خارج كوريا 23.4%
ليرتفع عددها لأول مرة لأكثر من مليون سيارة
نسبة كبيرة منهم من مصنع هيونداي في الهند حيث تصنع الآي 10 و الآي 20

Cumulative Hyundai Motor sales of passenger cars and recreation vehicles in 2008 recorded 2.78 million units representing a 6,9 percent year-on-year increase.
Driven by strong demand for Hyundai vehicles in emerging markets, Hyundai increased its global sales to 2,781,677 vehicles from 2,602,317 vehicles sold in 2007. Overseas sales, including exports from Korea and sales from the companys overseas plants increased 11.8 percent to 2,210,715 units in 2008, while domestic sales dropped 8.7 percent to 570,962 units from a year earlier.
Hurt by decreasing sales of SUVs at its home market, Hyundai Motor experienced its first sales decrease in Korean market since 2004. Thanks to Kia Motors and its 20 percent domestic market sales increase, Hyundai now holds a record high market share in South Korea ( above 80%).
Hyundai exports from South Korea rose to 1,099,515 units (+ 2,1%) for the year, while overseas plants sales recorded a 23.4 percent increase to 1,111,200.

e 1 million mark. Sales of vehicles produced in Hyundais new manufacturing plant in India, where the i20 and i10 are built, amounted to 486,224 units, of which 243,946 were
deliverd to Europe and other International markets
