Volkswagen came at the GTI Treffen show in Worthersee with three impressive concept cars. But the most impressive Golf GTI in the show was one developed by Volkswagen Coaching in cooperation to APR. The model is called Golf GTI Reifnitz and develops an impressive 370 HP from the usual 2.0 TSI engine.
The model features a special paint design and an aero styling developed by the VW Coaching team. The interior is also extremely detailed, but the most impressive work was made under the hood. The team opted for an APR Stage III Turbocharger System, APR Intercooler and APR
RSC Performance Exhaust. The result is an impressive 370 HP (an impressive update over the standard 215 HP) and a peak torque of 354 lbs-ft.
VW Coaching staff was available throughout the day to answer questions and when asked about power, a quick reach in the glove box brings a dynamometer certification chart of the power and torque delivered by APR’s Stage III Turbocharger System.
