speed transmission instead of the more modern 6 speed is quite simple, Chery’s gearboxes were not up to the torque delivery of the V6 engine which delayed its launch, Chery redeveloped their 5 speed box to cope with the new V6 units 197bhp and 278Nm of torque.

The G6 3.0 V6 model is expected to launch later this year
