VW's new German E-Golf spot looks awfully familiar

Ever have the feeling of déjà vu? Volkswagen has released a new video in Germany for the all-electric E-Golf, which is all well and good. The problem, though, is that it looks just a bit familiar.

See, there are a lot of parallels between this ad and a certain Chevrolet spot for the Cruze Diesel that aired around the Olympics. It could certainly be a coincidence, as both manufacturers want to point out that you're not going to be at the gas station as much if you buy their car, but the similarities would make this a pretty massive fluke.
