<div style="text-align: center;"><em><strong><sma ll>2010 Chevrolet Camaro interior - Click above for high-res image gallery of interior award winners from Ward's Auto</small></strong></em></div> <br /> Do you own a <a href="http://autoblog.com/make/lamborghini">Lamborghini</a> Miura? If not, we're going to presume that you spend way more time looking at the interior of your car than the exterior. If you do happen to have a Miura parked in your garage, we suggest you stop reading immediately and go gaze upon its sensuous exterior lines for a few hours.<br /> <br /> Still here? Great, that means you don't own a Miura and the interior of your car is an extremely important consideration. Which begs the question: What car has the best interior in any given class? Attempting to answer that query is none other than <em>Wards Auto</em>, which has just released its annual Auto Interior of the Year Awards for 2010 after analyzing the innards of 40 vehicles that are either brand new for 2010 or at least significantly updated.<br /> <br /> Somewhat surprisingly, the only automaker to take home more than one trophy was <a href="http://autoblog.com/make/chevrolet">Chevrolet</a>. The new <a href="http://autoblog.com/model/equinox">Equinox</a> won for popular-priced truck under $39,999 and the <a href="http://autoblog.com/model/camaro">Camaro</a> took top honors in the sportscar category. Other winners include the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/model/outback">Subaru Outback </a>in the popular-priced car under $29,999 category and the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/model/5+series+gt">BMW 5-Series Gran Turismo</a> for "Design Versatility."<br /> <br /> Want to see the rest? Report: BMW M3 Sedan may not live to see another generation
<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/sedans/" rel="tag">Sedan</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/sports/" rel="tag">Performance</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/bmw/" rel="tag">BMW</a></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/2008-bmw-m3-sedan/#29"><img vspace="4" hspace="0" border="1" alt="" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/04/m3seda.jpg" /></a>
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong><em><sma ll>BMW M3 Sedan - Click above for high-res image gallery</small><br /> </em></strong></div> <strong><em><br /> </em></strong>Between the emergence of the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/04/bmw-m3-gts-unveiled/">M3 GTS</a> and the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/02/12/bmw-announces-start-stop-system-and-competition-package-for-m3/">Competition Package</a> - to say nothing of the new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/2011-bmw-335is-first-drive/">335is</a> - there's been plenty of news for fans of <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/make/bmw">BMW</a>'s performance-oriented <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/model/3+series">3 Series</a>. Unfortunately, not all of it is good, as reports indicate that the Bavarian automaker is looking to discontinue the four-door <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/model/m3">M3</a> sedan.<br /> <br /> Although the current M3 sedan looks poised to continue through to the end of its current lifecycle, sources suggest that the next-gen M3 will remain a two-door (coupe and convertible) affair only. The reason has apparently been cited as lagging sales for the V8 super-sedan, which was highly demanded by American buyers in the previous generation but has failed to live up to its potential in the marketplace. So if you've been eying that M3 sedan on the local dealer's lot but were waiting to see what the next model would bring, now may be the time, hombre.<br /> <br /> <br /> <div class="postgallery"><p><s trong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-bmw-m3-sedan/low/">2008 BMW M3 Sedan</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-bmw-m3-sedan/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/tokyo-bmw-m3-sedan-007_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-bmw-m3-sedan/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/tokyo-bmw-m3-sedan-014_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-bmw-m3-sedan/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/tokyo-bmw-m3-sedan-013_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-bmw-m3-sedan/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/tokyo-bmw-m3-sedan-012_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-bmw-m3-sedan/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/10/tokyo-bmw-m3-sedan-011_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /> [Source: <a href="http://www.bimmerfile.com/2010/04/12/bmw-to-drop-four-door-m3-from-line-up/?utm_source=feedburner&ut m_medium=feed&utm_campaig n=Feed%3A+Bimmerfile+%28B immerFile%29&utm_content= Google+Reader">BimmerFile </a> via <a href="http://www.egmcartech.com/2010/04/12/bmw-m3-sedan-to-be-killed-off-because-no-one-wants-to-buy-it/?utm_source=feedburner&ut m_medium=feed&utm_campaig n=Feed%3A+egmcartech+%28e gmCarTech%29&utm_content= Google+Reader">eGMCarTech </a>]<p style="padding:5px;backgr ound:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/13/report-bmw-m3-sedan-may-not-live-to-see-another-generation/">Report: BMW M3 Sedan may not live to see another generation</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblo g</a> on Tue, 13 Apr 2010 10:40:00 EST. Report: Audi may have passed Mercedes in Q1 global sales, but BMW is still #1
<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/carbuying/" rel="tag">Car Buying</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/audi/" rel="tag">Audi</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/bmw/" rel="tag">BMW</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/mercedes-benz/" rel="tag">Mercedes-Benz</a></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/review-2009-bmw-750i"><img hspace="4" height="414" border="1" width="620" alt="" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/001_7series_review_opt.jp g" /></a>
<div style="text-align: center;"><em><strong><sma ll>2010 BMW 750i - Click above for high-res image gallery</small></strong></em><br /> <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/make/audi"><br /> </a></div> <div style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/make/audi">Audi</a> outsold <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/make/mercedes-benz">Mercedes Benz</a> globally in the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/09/report-audi-outsells-mercedes-benz-globally-for-first-time-in-q/">first quarter of 2010</a>; a big deal considering it was the first time the four-ringed automaker had ever accomplished such a feat. But while Audi was finally able to pass its crosstown rival in sales, the German automaker is still longing for the title of the top luxury brand in the land.<br /> <br /> <em>Automotive News</em> reports that <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/make/bmw">BMW</a> announced final Q1 sales of 265,809 vehicles, besting Audi by an anorexic 1,709 units for the three month period. BMW saw a global sales increase of 14 percent compared to the same period of 2009, buoyed by strong sales of its <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/15/frankfurt-2009-2010-bmw-x1-shows-up/">new X1 crossover</a> and a 56 percent increase in <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/model/7+series">7 Series</a> sales. BMW sales boss Ian Robertson said in a statement that the company intends to improve sales across the globe, adding, "We are back on our growth track in nearly all the automobile markets." And BMW isn't just hoping the market improves - the automaker is counting on an increase in sales courtesy of its new <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/model/5+series">5 Series lineup</a>, which was launched overseas last month and arrives in the U.S. in June. BMW also has a <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/model/3+series">refreshed 3 Series coupe</a> and convertible on the way as well. With single digit growth, BMW intends to sell 1.3 million vehicles in 2010.<br /> <br /> But while BMW pulled out the slimmest of victories in Q1, we're thinking Audi's performance during the first three months effectively puts its German competitors on notice. With a very good product lineup and a considerable foothold in China, Audi may well achieve its goal of becoming the largest luxury car maker on earth by 2015 a lot earlier than most people expected.<br /> <br /> <br /> <div class="postgallery"><p><s trong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/review-2009-bmw-750i/low/">Review: 2009 BMW 750i</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/review-2009-bmw-750i/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/001_7series_review_thumbn ail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/review-2009-bmw-750i/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/003_7series_review_thumbn ail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/review-2009-bmw-750i/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/000_7series_review_thumbn ail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/review-2009-bmw-750i/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/002_7series_review_thumbn ail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/review-2009-bmw-750i/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/004_7series_review_thumbn ail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /> [Source: <a href="http://www.autonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100412/COPY01/304129915/1286">Automotive News</a> - Sub. <div style="text-align: center;"><em><strong><sma ll>2011 BMW M1/1 Series M - Click above for high-res image gallery</small></strong></em></div> <br /> It's been a good week for nabbing peeks at upcoming <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/12/spy-shots-next-gen-mercedes-ml-amg-spotted/">German metal</a> and the latest shots to come out of Deutschland include the first clear pics of the hopped up <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/model/1+series">BMW 1-Series</a>. And not only do we have stills, but we've got video to prove it, too. While no one knows exactly what to call the car just yet, it's clear the tiny coupe will pack some firepower when it finally hits the streets. Need proof? Set your eyes on that outrageously wide rear axle. <br /> <br /> The 'roided-out 1er was spotted while making laps of the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/13/peugeot-to-run-a-pair-of-diesel-rcz-coupes-at-24-hrs-of-nurburgr/">Nurburgring</a>, and wears a set of rear fender flares that do their best to hide beefy rear tires. The keen-eyed will also be able to pick out quite a bit of additional body work on the car, including a new front fascia that borrows elements from the current M3. <br /> <br /> Right now, there's no word on what we can expect in the engine bay, though a modified version of the new single-turbo inline-six found in the 135i would be a pretty good bet. The better news is that BMW has already promised a limited-slip rear to show up in the new model. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/13/spy-video-bmw-m1-1-series-m-laps-the-ring/#continued">Hit the jump</a> to see the video and check out the high-res gallery below.<br /> <br /> <br /> <div class="postgallery"><p><s trong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2011-bmw-m1-1-series-m/low/">Spy Shots: 2011 BMW M1/1 Series M</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2011-bmw-m1-1-series-m/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/04/01-bmw-m1-spy-april_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2011-bmw-m1-1-series-m/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/04/02-bmw-m1-spy-april_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2011-bmw-m1-1-series-m/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/04/03-bmw-m1-spy-april_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2011-bmw-m1-1-series-m/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/04/04-bmw-m1-spy-april_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-2011-bmw-m1-1-series-m/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/04/05-bmw-m1-spy-april_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /> [Video: <a href="http://www.bmwblog.com/2010/04/13/best-spy-photos-of-the-future-bmw-m1-or-1m/">BMW Blog</a> | Images: CarPix]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/13/spy-shots-and-video-bmw-m1-1-series-m-laps-the-ring/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Spy Shots and Video: BMW M1/1 Series M laps the 'Ring</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;backgr ound:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/13/spy-shots-and-video-bmw-m1-1-series-m-laps-the-ring/">Spy Shots and Video: BMW M1/1 Series M laps the 'Ring</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblo g</a> on Tue, 13 Apr 2010 19:24:00 EST. BMW introduces smartphone app for roadside assistance
<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/safety/" rel="tag">Safety</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/tech/" rel="tag">Technology</a>, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/category/bmw/" rel="tag">BMW</a></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/bmw-roadside-assistance-smartphone-app/"><img vspace="4" hspace="0" border="1" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/04/bmwraa.jpg" alt="" /></a>
<div style="text-align: center;"><em><strong><sma ll>BMW Roadside Assistance smartphone app - Click above for image gallery</small></strong></em></div> <br /> When it comes to the side of the road, let's just say you're not looking to get more familiar with it. Being stuck there is bad enough; being stuck there in a luxury car might be considered even worse. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/make/bmw">BMW</a> wants to take a some of that edge off by making it easier to get help, introducing a personalized smartphone app for its BMW Roadside Assistance. <br /> <br /> If Ultimate Service was included with your new or pre-owned BMW, then you can take advantage of it, or those who adopted too early can purchase an annual subscription. It works on iPhones, BlackBerries and Android phones - sorry, Palm and WinMo - and expedites requests for any BMW registered in the U.S. since 1975. Follow the jump for the press release, and look what you can do with your smartphone in the gallery of photos below.<br /> <br /> <br /> <div class="postgallery"><p><s trong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bmw-roadside-assistance-smartphone-app/low/">BMW Roadside Assistance smartphone app</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bmw-roadside-assistance-smartphone-app/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/04/01bmwraa_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bmw-roadside-assistance-smartphone-app/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/04/02bmwraa_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bmw-roadside-assistance-smartphone-app/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/04/03bmwraa_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bmw-roadside-assistance-smartphone-app/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/04/04bmwraa_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/bmw-roadside-assistance-smartphone-app/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2010/04/05bmwraa_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /> [Source: BMW]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/14/bmw-introduces-smartphone-app-for-roadside-assistance/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>BMW introduces smartphone app for roadside assistance</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;backgr ound:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/14/bmw-introduces-smartphone-app-for-roadside-assistance/">BMW introduces smartphone app for roadside assistance</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblo g</a> on Wed, 14 Apr 2010 08:40:00 EST.
